How to find an NHS Contractor

This section allows you to find contact details and services provided by Doctors, Dentists, Opticians and Pharmacies within the North East of England.

First select the type of service you would like to search for from the menu. Once the search page has loaded select your area from the “Select your area” drop down menu.

If you require a more detailed search you can choose location, postcode or town from the appropriate drop down menus. Click on the green search button to bring back your results.

At the bottom of the page there is a blue button when you click on this button another search page is loaded from here you can select further options such as wheelchair access, languages spoken, find a particular service provided by the practice or services offered by the professional. Click on the green search button to bring back your results. The results will show any practice that provides at least one of the options selected.
